Baby Boy Wild Weave Quilt

Baby Boy Wild Weave Quilt

Our friend had a baby boy a couple of months ago and when I asked what colors she wanted in a quilt, she showed me pictures of her adorable outdoor-themed nursery.

I picked a mix of blues, greens, and oranges and used my new Wild Weave quilt pattern that will be releasing July 9th!

How cute is this? I love mixing up different patterns like this in the different colors!

This comb of colors is so adorable together! The fabrics I used were all Riley Blake BasicsBlossom in Navy and Green Smoothie, Swiss Dot in Lime, Medium Dot in Navy and Orange, Kisses in Pumpkin, Bee Cross Stitch in Clover, Large Hashtag in Orange, Mini Hashtag in Navy, and Texture in Turtle and Denim.

I love the random placement of colors. Really, you can throw any fabric in this pattern and it looks great! Plus it sews up really quickly!

To match the outdoorsy theme, I chose this awesome flag print from the Adventure is Calling line that just released from Riley Blake Designs. It wasn't quite wide enough, so I added some solid Navy Confetti Cottons solids and a strip of Orange Kisses fabric.

For quilting, I went with a double line grid. It's so easy and adds lots of interest!

The greens and oranges are bright which is great for developing baby eyes! Plus this size is great for tummy time! I can't wait to gift it!

This pattern will be available July 9th in my shop!

Until later, happy sewing!
Jamie
