Shark lovers unite! The SHARK BAY quilt pattern is finally here and I'm crazy excited about it!
First of all, sharks and stripes? Yes please! This adorable quilt comes in 6 sizes - Wall, Baby, Lap, Throw, XL Throw, and Twin, and the design is scaled so they all look the same!
The original design was cute but kind of plain and had some piecing that I hadn't figured out yet.
It didn't feel quite complete yet, so I set it aside. Then one day I was inspired to add some stripes and the rest is history! I absolutely love it. I always like to design with pops of white in the background to give it a fresh look and make sure that the colors stand out.
This pattern uses 9 different colors. The background color (A), one color for every two stripes (B-F), one major shark color (G), and two minor shark colors (H and J).
- Note: to avoid confusion, there is no color I.
