So you know how I made a bunch of pillow patterns for the Make it Modern series last year with Riley Blake Designs? Good news, the fun is back this year with 12 MORE!!! I'll be posting them the third Thursday of every month. In case you missed the 2022 pillow designs, you can see them here!.
In case you missed it, February's block featured the Bee Cross Stitch collection from the Lori Holt. The colors I used (from top to bottom) were Coral, Taffy, Plum, Soldier, Cottage, and Riley Green.
March's block features the Swiss Dots collection from the RBD Designers. The colors I used (from top to bottom) were Lavender, Coral, Hot Pink, Red, Orange, Yellow, Lime, Peacock, and Denim.
I love bright colors and polka dots so this design is my jam!
I did a classic grid at 1/2" with my 50wt Aurifil thread.

I hope you all enjoy these pillow patterns I've put together! I have a feeling I'll be making some more versions too! Be sure to share all your makes on social media and tag me on Instagram at @sewbrainy!
Until later, happy quilting!

I just made the March pillow and it is fabulous. I had dotted scraps in many colours, so this was a great stash buster. I think there needs to be a minor adjustment in the fabric requirement section. Fabric A needs to say 3/8 yard- not a fat quarter as is stated. I caught this when I looked at the cutting directions.
Love these pillows. They are so fun to make and interchange on my bed or couch
