I'm a sucker for polka dots and adorable Valentine's things, so this new Sending Love collection by My Mind's Eye for Riley Blake Designs gives me all the feels! The colors are so vibrant!
And these prints are so modern and fresh!
I decided that my new Sidestream quilt pattern would be perfect for these pretties! So I whipped up this adorable baby size quilt!
I used the squiggle stitch pattern on my Bernina to add some simple quilting.
To add a little jazz to the background, I opted to use an RBD Blossom print color called "On White all the pink." I love it because it has a bunch of different shades of pink and it looks kind of like confetti.
For the binding, I used the RBD 1/4" black and white striped fabric. It really makes these fabrics pop!
And for the background, I used the RBD Kisses print color "On White Red" to give this quilt a little extra love.
It all came together so great! Now I need to find a sweet little baby to gift it to!
This collection is on its way to shops now, so make sure you grab some for those fun Valentine's day projects! I'm thinking a banner may be in my future!
