I’m exited to be sharing my progress for WEEK 3 of the the Support Group Quilt Along! I'm sewing along with my friends over at The Fat Quarter Shop to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month all October!
The event features the adorable Support Group Quilt Pattern by Riley Blake Designer Lori Holt whose mom survived breast cancer. In case you missed it, you can read my last post about this quilt along HERE.
BUY THE PATTERN HERE!
The Support Group Quilt finishes at 59.5″ x 66.5” and is super versatile for just about any fabric choice! For my version, I'll be using my very favorite Riley Blake basics line Blossom by Christopher Thompson. I'm using these 12 bright fabrics - Fuchsia, Wisteria, Raspberry, Apricot Blush, Cayenne, Orange, Honey, Emerald City, Green Smoothie, Peacock, Medium Blue, and Denim.
Here were my bright and happy WEEK #1 and WEEK #2 blocks.
Now for this week’s blocks! These are the three BRA BLOCK #3 designs that will go on the third row. They are a bit simpler than the others because they only use one accent fabric color. This is the orange bra.
This is the medium blue bra.
And this is the raspberry bra.
You can never go wrong with bright colors! I'm loving them!
In addition, to my Blossom blocks, I’m also doing a little project with Riley Blake’s new fabric collection called Strength in Pink to celebrate their special partnership with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
These were my BLOCK #1 and BLOCK #2. So adorable!
This is my new BLOCK #3. I had some fun fussy cutting the blocks!
I'll be working on bra block #3 this week, so I'll be back to show those off next Friday! Here's the schedule:
